Jelado Hubbell Chimayo Coat Navy (upgraded larrysmith button) 15% off
Jelado have built a reputation for themselves over the past number of seasons for their wool blanket production. Last season gave us the Salem patterns in a number of coats and for this AW19 Jelado take inspiration from traditional Chimayo jackets.
Chimayo is a village north of Santa Fe in New Mexico. Weaving traditions in northern New Mexico date back hundreds of years with Chimayo the most well-known production area.
The Hubbell Chimayo coat is inspired by a vintage piece from the 1940's and is woven in Japan from a blend of wool, nylon and cotton. The jacket features an Italian style collar that allows for ease of wear and adds a slight twist to the piece. Two hip pockets have been sewn into the pattern that features throughout and they match perfectly. A raglan sleeve is paired with a braided button catch closure and cotton piping throughout.
