JELADO S/S Westcoast Shirt 刺子
We have released Westcoast Shirts, which are based on open collar shirts from the 1950s, with a different material.
This time I used cotton linen sashiko fabric.
Sashiko is one of Japan's traditional techniques, and its history is said to date back about 500 years.
We use a dobby loom to express the touch of the fabric.
Since it contains linen, it has good breathability and a refreshing feel.
It has a characteristic open collar design from the 1950s, but by making it from cotton linen material instead of rayon material, it is a piece that can be easily washed and can be enjoyed as it changes over time.
This is a piece that can be worn easily even for those who are reluctant to wear flashy patterns such as aloha.
