Description of item
Army cargo shorts in duck hunter camouflage. This historically famous camouflage pattern has its roots in the "M1942 Frogskin Camo," developed by the US military in the 1940s. This pattern, which achieves high concealment by blurring the outlines with a mottled pattern created by layering multiple colors, was issued to limited units such as the Marine Corps. Although it required many processes and time to manufacture and was unsuitable for mass production, its high performance led to consideration of adoption by the entire military, making it a unique item. After the war, it spread as hunting wear, and the name "DUCK HUNTER CAMO" became established due to its affinity with waterfowl hunting. It has been passed down from military to civilian and then to fashion. The bold and organic pattern has the strength of a graphic that abstracts the colors of nature, and as it is worn and ages, it changes its appearance and develops a vintage depth.
